Balvac offers post tensioning for a wide range of project types including bridges, buildings, circular structures, water tanks and tendon monitoring. We can offer bonded or unbonded, internal or external tendon systems.

We are currently the UK and Ireland Licensee for the MeKano4 Post Tensioning System and have an extensive reference list of projects completed to date – see below for some examples. Our site teams also have first hand experience of other major PT Systems gained from previous licensee arrangements and from our tendon monitoring works using other systems.

In addition to new build construction, we also carry out strengthening works to existing structures eg the addition of external tendons to bridges or around tanks and other circular structures.

Balvac is a member of the Post Tensioning Association, our systems are CARES approved, and our directly employed operatives hold appropriate CSCS cards.
