Balvac has secured a three-year Structures Framework for structures maintenance work on closed ex-rail bridges and tunnels throughout the North of England. This is a significant award for Balvac with a new and valued customer, BRB(Residuary).
Balvac joins sister company Raynesway Construction in a collaborative arrangement, with Raynesway delivering projects in Scotland, and Balvac doing likewise in Northern England.
The project involves essential maintenance to ensure assets are kept in a safe and serviceable condition. Many of the viaducts are historic listed structures which require sensitive repair and maintenance techniques.
