Leeds City Council has awarded Balvac a £200k contract to undertake external concrete repairs, sealants and coatings to a 12 storey residential block. This award brings the number of high-rise block refurbishment projects, completed by Balvac, to 24 in recent years.
The Work will commence in January and run until April.
Hanover Street, Liverpool.
Balvac has secured a package of work, worth up to £450k, for Birse Build on the Liverpool One City Centre Development. Work involves structural repairs and replacement of building fabric on retained historic facades on two buildings. This is a further package and follows on from another secured project, worth £1m, at Paradise Street.
Client for the project is Grosvenor Properties, who are investing £1billion in Europe's largest shopping, office and residential development.
