Balvac qualified for the final of the Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering Quiz by winning the Southern Division heat earlier this year.
The final was held in Kegworth and six teams took part. There were two teams from each of the three divisions, which were Southern Division, Northern Division and Birse Civil Division.
Balvac were victorious on the night, clinching the title after a nail-biting finale. Balvac succeeded after answering a final question, which put them two points into the lead.
The Balvac team consisted of Mark Burrows, Steve Williams, Steve Kervin and Chris Gyte. The team was awarded an impressive trophy by Marshall Scott, Managing Director, Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering. The trophy is proudly on display at Balvac's Head Office.
