Balvac is delighted to have been awarded a Framework contract for structures strengthening and repair works by AmScott in Area 7, East Midlands.
AmScott is a Joint Venture of Alfred McAlpine and Scott Wilson, and has a long-term contract for infrastructure maintenance for the Highways Agency in Area 7.
The first project that Balvac will undertake is the refurbishment of the A38 Heage Road Bridge, near Ripley in Derbyshire.
Projects allocated to Balvac so far in the Framework involve:
· Parapet Strengthening
· Bridge Deck Refurbishment
· Concrete Repairs
· Carbon Fibre Strengthening
Balvac is currently involved in 10 other collaborative projects and this important award adds to our growing portfolio of Framework contracts with leading clients.
