Balvac are Back at Oldbury Nuclear Power Station, March 2006
Balvac has a long track record working at Oldbury and only left site in March 2005. During the five years Balvac has been at Oldbury, the team has completed a variety of strengthening works. This has included beam repairs, structural propping, installation of steel brackets and steel plate bonding.
Works started on site in mid February and are scheduled to last 11 weeks. The works involve installation of new stanchions and brackets around the existing stanchions, the installation of cabinet reinforcing straps and resin crack injection.
The team is delighted to be back working at Oldbury and it is hopeful that we will continue to work there for many years to come. We wish the team well in this and future projects.
