Identification of improvements is to be encouraged as a culture for every project team and business. This culture exists at every level from site to boardroom and ensures that opportunities to make necessary change are seized upon and the process is fast tracked to implementation and not stifled by bureaucracy of approvals systems. Empowering lower management to effect change and be involved in the cycle of continuous improvement is essential to the success of the project.

We operate a system of production monitoring on site, which is regularly reviewed, with feedback disseminated to staff through feedback meetings and technical seminars. We also hold lunchtime seminars, staff briefings and we publish news sheets on developments and improvements.

Demonstrable improvements in performance have been made on many projects and then fed back into the pricing of subsequent phases of work, so passing performance benefits directly through to customers.
